Their is also this problem of not being able to see my true bios screen. As when i boot from c.d. or hdd. I continually see DRM nouveau 0000:01:00:0: no native mode forcing panel scaling. With VESA Kernel modesetting driver in use.with no edid for dvi -1 -1

With errors [284.417577] i2c i2c-1 sendbytes:nak:bailout.

This is all part of the same issue i have been trying to remove issue from hdd drive. But the graffix issue may be what is stopping me from seeing true bios screen And their for stops me repairing the system.

Thanks again. mad11
It could be a graphics issue but I'm not sure.

You could do a backup of everything and than wipe the HDD and than perform a fresh Linux install.

2 Ge-Force 9600GT cards....jeeesse!

For just one of those cards you should have at least a 550 watt power supply.
I'm thinking for 2 cards you would need a 700 watt power supply.

Have you considered a back up and a fresh installation?

I'm asking because you should be able to get into your BIOS w/o fail for one and for 2 if your partitions are somehow attached to your BIOS that's not the normal.

Is your pc running hot?
Code:
sensors -f
Anything I think over 167 degrees isn't good and overclocking isn't always wise either.

I could be wrong but I think (notice I said think) this is the problem.
Code:
With VESA Kernel modesetting driver in use.with no edid for dvi -1
If I'm not mistaken it's a graphics mode issue of some sort and is associated with the digital visual interface. EDID stands for extended display identification data.
You'll need a member that's good with graphics sorry I'm not 100% sure.
