VirtualBox guest-to-guest via external switch?

For testing purposes I have created a network in VirtualBox, consisting of a pfSense firewall (fw0), a client on fw0:s LAN and another on fw0:s OPT.
Now I need to test functionalities for a switch which in the end will be connected to the real network I'm simulating in VB. There is no possibility to add a virtual switch in VirtualBox.
Question is, will the following setup work?

2 extra nic's in VB-host (Win7-workstation) which are bridged to a physical switch.
Then use 2 VB-networks on firewall, one connected to switch via Win7-bridged nic.
The VB-guest-clients have one nic each, also connected to switch via Win7-bridged nic.
Attaching a picture, for clarity. (Picture is for testing VLAN's, there are other things I need to get tested as well later.)

VLAN on switch: port 1= VLAN 1+2 port 2=VLAN 1, port 3 = VLAN 2
Firewall is on port 1, webbserver on port 2, database on port 3
Then to connect switchports physically I guess could be done with a hub/switch.
Is there a possibility to get this to work? I could of course just try, but as it will take quite some time to set it up I prefer to discuss it first!

VDE Networking is what you think it doesn't do but it does, you just have to compile VB yourself

Thanks a lot!!
That definitely makes this easier - although I'll have to use another computer for this as it's too complicated to compile VB on Windows, and according to docs VDE is only available for Linux & FreeBSD.
(The Win7 computer used as host today belongs to my client, I must use Win7 as primary OS while working for them. Thanks to VB I can still use Debian as my primary os though!)

Edit: Hmm maybe I'll give my Debian-guest 90% of the Win7 resources, and compile VirtualBox there. Then I can run virtualization virtualized.. !
