virtual box - copying/pasting

how do i copy/paste between windows 7 and oracle virtual box running ubuntu? I want to put a folder into Ubuntu.

You have at least 2 options:

1) In Virtual Box (manager) set up a shared folder. This allows you to access a folder from either host or guest and share files between the two.

2) SFTP from your host -> guest and put the folder there

I use 1) and it hasn't given me any issues.
