Resized VDI, OS No Longer Boots

Unfortunately I didn't clone my VDI before resizing it using VBoxManage.exe (from Windows) and now my OS (Xubuntu) won't boot. It will just stay on a blank screen forever. I can still send it the shutdown signal and it will shutdown so it's not completely hosed I guess.

Any idea what happened? Can I use a rescue disc to fix my partitions?

I attached my output from fdisk -l and parted /dev/sda print in case it helps.

Boot to a live cd while attached to the vm and see if you can access the disk.
