Problems in installing Ubuntu 11.10 on Vmware 8

Hi,

I trying to install Ubuntu 11.10 on Vmware 8.0 on a Win7(home premium,4Gb).While booting it gets stuck with a serious of "hci0 command tx timeout" messages & it stays there for ever..

By the way,i'm linux-newbie using .iso image that is downloaded from Ubuntu support site to install it on Vmware..

Any help would be appreciated

An update..

Whenever i turn-on the num-lock on keypad,it allows me to login using admin account(with p/w) that i set-up during installation(dont know what logic it follows). But now i can't get any sound to play.Do i have to find some sound card drivers(not sure) or can it be a bug??

Any help would be appreciated..

By the way, thanks yooy for your time..
