Lightbulb problem to mount and make yum server in RHEL 5 in vmware


hi

i am trying to install RHEL5 in vmware with help of .iso image directly from my pc. the O.S is installed

But the problem is:

to install packages i need yum server and for doing that i had to mount the source.

in case of cd

# mount /dev/cdrom /mnt

and it start mounting...but can anyone tell me how to mount directly from an .iso image from my pc

Yes, Google could, if you looked:

mount -o loop disk1.iso /mnt/disk
And since you're using RHEL, you should call RedHat support for help..you are paying for it, since you're using RHEL, right???
