[SOLVED] Linux Mint / Virtualbox. There is no /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup

I just installed VirtualBox but I get an error that the vboxdrv has to be loaded and it tells me to run /etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup but that file does not exist. I also tried modprobe vboxdrv but there's no such thing as vboxdrv.

How do I get that to work? I installed it through the package manager.

I ran into this problem today & tried the exact same solutions (to no avail)

Installing virtualbox-dkms fixed it for me.

Thanks that worked! I was able to do modprobe vboxdrv and was able to startup my VM. Well, VT was not enabled on the CPU (why is this not a default in bioses now days?) but after I enabled it, it worked.
