Issues with fresh KVM install on Centos 6.4
I just installed Centos 6.4 with the Virtual Host software package. When importing and creating my Vms in Virt-Manager the only option I get for Virt Type is QEMU. Some of the Vms I'm going to be running where previously setup with the Virt Type of KVM and they are painfully slow. I tried to reinstall group Vitalization but I'm still missing the option.
Most guides that I found in the Internet state that I need to install the following package kvm, libvirt, python-virtinst and qemu-kvm. If I run
Code:
yum install kvm libvirt python-virtinst qemu-kvm
I get the following out put
Code:
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, refresh-packagekit, security
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
* base: centos.vipernetworksystems.com
* extras: mirror.anl.gov
* updates: mirrors.adams.net
Setting up Install Process
Package 2:qemu-kvm-0.12.1.2-2.355.0.1.el6.centos.2.x86_64 already installed and latest version
Package libvirt-0.10.2-18.el6.x86_64 already installed and latest version
Package python-virtinst-0.600.0-15.el6.noarch already installed and latest version
Package 2:qemu-kvm-0.12.1.2-2.355.0.1.el6.centos.2.x86_64 already installed and latest version
Nothing to do
So it seems to my issue is I do not have the KVM package to install a KVM hypervisor and I only have the QEMU hypervisor installed. How do I get the KVM hyporviser installed?

It has worked before when I have 6.3 installed but there was an issue with the uograde.

I'll check to see if I diabled virtulization in my bios.

Thank you for your help dyasny. For some how I managed to turn off SVM in my BIOS. Not sure when I did it.
