Hello,
Unfortunately I am having many many issues installing any Linux distribution on my dedicated server which is running VMware ESXi 4.1. I am having no issues running any windows VMs, but every time I attempt to install a Linux VM it freezes. On Ubuntu the screen "shifts" then freezes (giving no errors), and on CentOS it starts installing, gets extremely little done, then errors. Here's the error CentOS displays:
"PANIC: early exception 0d rip 10:ffffffff8103eb79 error 0 cr2 0"
Here's a screenshot of what happens installing CentOS:

Here's a picture of what happens when installing Ubuntu:

I have tried many things and unfortunately nothing is working
. I think it may be some sort of disk-accessing issue, but if it is I have no clue how to find/fix the problem. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated, as I really need to get a Linux VM up so I can eventually replace all the Windows VMs with Ubuntu ones
. Thank you very very much for your assistance.
Thanks,
Sean.
