help me choose. vmware esxi or xen server or hyper-v
Hello,
I wanted to setup a new virtual environment at work on a server and an older san. This would not be a production setup. We currently have esx 4.1 in our production. And we also have hyper-v in another test enviroment. However, I was thinking of getting rid of the hyper-v and setting up xenserver. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Should I stick with hyper-v or go with xen server. Or should I just make our whole virtual network run on vmware, even though the free esxi cannot be managed via v-sphere? Thanks |
I haven't tried this myself because I didn't find it until recently, but it looks a lot nicer than what our virtualbox environment is.

Since it is not a production system, try it all and see what you like.
