Filesystem passthrough

Firstly can someone tell me if Filesystem passthrough is actually the right tool for the job, I am trying to run a Windows VM under a Linux KVM-QEMU host?

Next problem is that it does not seem to work on any of my VMs, error is: Not supported for this hypervisor/libvirt combination (CentOS 6.3).

One post suggested that this has not been implemented in some versions of either the OS or the kvm that you have.

Suse (not sure if it includes opensuse) seems to fully support it. https://doc.opensuse.org/products/dr...u.running.html

Guess you could boot up a new OS and try it just to prove it.
