Connect to a VM in a LAN environment

Hi,

Here is my question. I created a Linux VM through VMWare Player on my laptop. Is it possible for another machine in the local network to connect to that VM, for instance, use FileZilla to ftp some files to that VM.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, the easiest way would be to set the network adapter in the VMware configuration to bridged. Then either let it get an IP using DHCP or set it up to a static IP, just like you would do with any other machine in the LAN.
