Assign a large subnet of IPs to KVM Guest VM

I have KVM host node running a few VMs. I create them using SolusVM panel, however they don't have an option to add bulk IPs in one shot to a guest VM which is silly. I'd like to know how I can add a /27 or such manually via CLI on the host, to a guest VM? I'm running Centos 6 Linux on the Host and Guest VMs.

I think you're looking to add second ips to same adapter. Look the below link for the steps

Thanks, but that's not quite it. I need to add them to the VM not the host. The link is for the host. The host needs to know that the IPs are added to the VM guest somehow.

Well, a bunch of Linux Geeks with 100s of years of experience are mostly gonna know about ifcfg-eth1 'edits',
regardless of the "panel" being used, that is why I directed to the Official Documentation.

Who better would know, them or us?

Your link has to do with their management panel, so I don't understand your last reply at all.

But my question is still there. How do I apply a large subnet to a guest VM, via my host KVM node?

Example.

KVM Host (running Centos 6, a /24 routed here)
VM guest #1 - assign a /27
VM guest #2 - assign a /27

I want to assign them in one shot. I'm familiar how to do this on Linux, but from the node > assigned to guest VM I'm stuck here.

You'll have to go into the guest OS and do some ifcfg-eth1 editing.

How an editing network files in the guest VM assume allocation by the host? That's like saying any VM guest customer can allocate themselves a larger subnet than what I provide them.

From my understanding that is actually how it works. Nothing really stops a guest from hogging all the IPs! Whether it's a VM or a physical box does not matter in this situation. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
