The Linux Users Group in Princeton (LUG/IP)

The Linux Users Group in Princeton is a computer club serving the Central New Jersey area. We are a collection of people dedicated to GNU/LinuxTM (a powerful, free, Unix-like operating system), Free Software, Open Source, and other related topics.

Our goals are education, advocacy, support and socializing.

We hold regular meetings on evenings of the second Wednesday of each month, with guest speakers and informative presentations. LUG/IP also holds other regular and semi-regular events and workshops. Meetings and membership are open to the public.

Our web site: www.lugip.org

NOTE: I am not an officer of the LUG. Just an excited member.

Edited to make the address into a site link - XavierP

Just wanted to second Khurt's mention of Lug/IP as a very solid and professional group... I've been going to the meetings for a number of months now, and each month there is good information, a good presentation or two, and excellent discussion with some very motivated and fun people. Anyone in the Central New Jersey region owes it to themselves to check it out and get involved!

Those that can't make it to LUG/IP should also consider HAMLUG, the Hamilton Linux Users Group. Hamilton isn't far from Princeton, and they meet on a different day... they are at www.hamlug.org

Thanks!
