Seeking other Linux users near Charleston, WV
 

I'd try starting one myself, via meetup, or here, or craigslist, but I don't trust I'd supply sufficient leadership to keep it going. But I'd sure love the chance to meet with other users in person. If any of you are near Charleston, please speak up; maybe we could get something started.

I took a look and found nothing near Charleston.

I say go for it. Meetup might be a good idea, but establishing a separate website for the LUG is likely a good idea also.

I participate in a volunteer social group in an interest that has nothing whatsoever to do with Linux and it did not get any traction in my area until someone started a Meetup page. We are still small, but we are now healthy.

You might also try to contact someone in the IT department of the local university.
