Omaha, NE Freedom By Knowledge Volunteer Group
I don't know if we qualify as a Linux User Group per se, we are a loal, non-profit group of volunteers who accept donations of previously owned computers in the Omaha, NE /Metro area and "revive" them with Linux.

Currently, we install PCLOS and Ubuntu.

We are always accepting donations of previously owned PC's

We are always looking for new members/Volunteers

We are always looking for local agencies, groups and families who can put our revived PC's to good use. ( the revived PC's are donated to said agencies, groups schools and families free of charge.)

We are working with local agencies, small businesses etc to give our members/volunteers a learning opportunity to install Desktop and server solutions in an equal trade setting. We do the installation for free and they allow the the time and "learning curve" necessary to complete the task(s) in a mutually beneficial manner.
