Thumbs up Binary Freedom

More than your typical LUG - we're a loose knit group of hackers, students, activists, free thinkers, amateur politicians and artists, Moms and Dads - each with our own concerns and beliefs that we impose upon no one.

We are dedicated to educating ourselves and our members about Free Software advocacy, digital freedoms (net neutrality), human rights actions, civil rights and liberties actions, free information, the occasional protest, and get togethers at various pubs, bookstores, movie cinemas, etc.

We love GNU & GNU/Linux, FSF, EFF, senses of humor, brilliant minds, radical and thought provoking writers and educators.

We speak all the languages on planet earth, as our members are spread far and wide across the globe - but for the most part, our language of choice is American English.

If you're a Troll or a Flamethrower - our list is not for you.
If you define yourself by your hard-core military or political stance - our list is not for you.
If you're not into making a difference in the world - our list is not for you.
