Atlanta, GA: Installfest

On September 23, 2006, the Linux User's Group @ Georgia Tech will be hosting an "installfest". Anyone interested in Linux (or already using it) can come get answers to questions, help installing, or help with any issue with their installation. I'll be there with a number of other experienced Linux users and I hope to see a few people from LQ. For details, including hours and locations, please see their site: http://lugatgt.org/events/installfests/32/

I'd be happy to answer any questions the site misses.

(Note: I'm not an officer in LUG@GT or anything, but I do like to help them out)

Just a reminder that this will be this Saturday at 11:00 AM... anyone with hardware or software issues is more than welcome to come out and get some help in person.

Thanks,
David

I probably shouldn't reply to this....

but this site is very well set out and very informative. I helped with one here in Townsville last year (I think ) and it went very well, Everyone really got into it, we had Demo computers running for those wishing to try Linux also demonstrations and the helping with the installing and such (Glavin!!) please post back and tell us how it went. I'm always exited to see things Like this going on, it shows that there are Alternitives out there for people who want to try somtehing different or people who just plain hate windows!

please post back and tell us how it all went,

Jake
