Ok, I need a zip utility that is not ZIPPED!!!

The only package provided by Mandrake 9.1 is for Gnome, I am using KDE........

Every zip package from the net I is ZIPPED!!!!
How do they expect me to open a zipped package if I don't have a zip utility?!?!?!

It should work just fine in KDE if you have Gnome and GTK installed (which Mandrake usually has, I use 9.1 as well and it works just fine)

Um, do you really need a package? Gunzip (and gzip) are almost certainly built into Mandrake and easily accessible from the console. Heck, even tar can unzip files prior to untarring them.

tar zxvf filename.tar.gz.

Pop open a console and give 'em a rip. For more info:

man gunzip
man gzip
man tar
