ZIP files with password

hi there

i am facing this new problem.
whenever i extract my ZIP files in linux, it reports "an error has occured " during extraction
now that error turns out to be because of password.
the file is password protected, but it does not even prompt for passowrd as it prompts in winzip in M$

so how do we go in this

i am using ARK V 2.1.9 in FC2

regards
