yum wants to remove xine as a dep

I'm trying to save space by removing stuff I don't need. I'm trying to groupremove KDE and yum wants to remove xine and xine-lib as a dep. Is there a way to remove KDE and leave the deps that I want to keep, or do I have to install xine after removing KDE?

so apparently arts (which is in the KDE group) is required by a lot of things; I don't know what you can do about this. Perhaps you could remove the other packages in the KDE group manually
