Unknown package ? Please post a package name.

Generally about excluding a package : Add a line to /etc/yum.conf
exclude=package_name*

you did install the new release rpm for epel ?
see
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL
and install the current rpm for that repo
https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epe...t-6.noarch.rpm

and see the note for RHN ( see the link above )
Quote:

NOTE for RHN users
You need to also enable the 'optional' repository to use EPEL packages as they depend on packages in that repository. This can be done by enabling the RHEL optional subchannel for RHN-Classic. For certificate-based subscriptions see Red Hat Subscription Management Guide. For EPEL 7, in addition to the 'optional' repository (rhel-7-server-optional-rpms), you also need to enable the 'extras' repository (rhel-7-server-extras-rpms).
this is redhat
so is optional enabled ?

sorry i do not have text file now

knudfl 05-21-2016 05:25 PM

Re #4.

Images with text should be avoided. And : Text images will not be read.
I guess you will have to learn how to copy / paste a text to a file / to a post.

Besides that, the text doesn't tell anything.
REPEAT : Which package is it about ?
