YUM Question

I recently upgraded my OpenOffice to 2.4 yet yum update is still insisting that openoffice.org-headless for version 2.3 has an update which needs applying.

I have no 2.3 files on my server (as far as I can tell, i.e. yum list installed | grep -i openoffice yielded only 2.4 stuff).

My question is.. How can I identify why yum believes that openoffice.org-headless for 2.3 needs updating?

Thx
Mark.

If you have rpm installed you could try
# rpm -qa| grep office

And see if the rpm database shows anything.

Just had another thought after another similar post.

If the rpm database show this but it is not installed you could try rebuilding the rpm database as follows:
# rm -f /var/lib/rpm/__db*
# rpmdb -vv --rebuilddb

Thx Pobrika.

I tried the rebuilddb as you said but it made no difference

the rpm -qa also only listed office rpms for 2.4. No 2.3 dependency in site !?!

I'm stumped...
