yum or apt-get in Redhat server is better


I use Redhat 4 server , can advise if I want to online update package , yum or apt-get is better ? I use apt-get in debian , it seems good , but I never use yum , is that also good if I use Redhat ? thx

RHEL 4 uses up2date by default. Why don't you use that?

up2date is not a tool to update ALL package by one time ? if I want to update a specific package what can i do ? thx

Up2date functions similarly to yum. Try reading "man up2date".

You are aware that you need a paid subscription to access RH's repos?
