Yum clients for a local repo server

Hi,

I have configured a local repository server and I would like to know that how many yum clients can use that repo server?

How to check that how many of client Linux machines can use one repository server? Is there any limitation?

Please provide some ideas.

Thanks in Advance.

Limits will be based on what kind of bandwidth you have or the repo server specs.
No limits as far as im aware in the standard yum configs

All my YUM clients are in LAN.

RepoServer configuration:
OS: RHEL 5.3
Arch: x86_64 (64bit)
Hardware: DELL Power 905
Processor: Quad-Code AMD Opetron Processor 8384
RAM: 2GB
Network: All the machines are in LAN.

Can you please let me know on what parameters we can find the limits?

There's no limit on how many can use the repo, in general. Centosboy was just pointing out that there's a practical limit on how many simultaneous cxns would be usable. That depends on many factors, eg what else is running on the repo server, what else is running on your network.
Only you know/can find out the answers to that.
Basically, just try it...
