yum and repository problem

Hi, this is a problem that I always wanted but afraid to ask.
Today, when I open my k3b, it said my dvd+rw-tools is outdated.
So, I went to rpm.pbone.net to search for the latest dvd+rw-tools for CentOS 5.
I downloaded it and tried installing by

rpm -Uvh <package_name>

But as always there are a bunch of dependence problems: glibc, libstdc, etc.....
Then I downloaded glibc only to find out it requires glibc-common.
This is really a endless loop.
I can probably find all the required rpm from rpm.pbone.net, but there must be a better way to work this thing out.
rpm.pbone.net itself also hosts almost all of those rpm files.
Is there any way to tell rpm command to look for whatever are needed on a specific site.
I can't find any .repo file from rpm.pbone.net

Also, what other good repo you guys are using?
Thanks!

The dvd+rw-tools-7.0-0.el5.3 package is the latest released for CentOS5 and should be installable via yum;

yum update dvd+rw-tools

This should install dvd+rw-tools and any dependencies required.

I have both the rpmforge and epel repos as part of my yum repos;

Do you perhaps have the old CentOS5 beta installed???
