Question Yum 2.1.12 can't download SRPMS

Hello

Try as I might, I can't configure yum to download SRPMS. It's fine with stable and updates, but when I add a line pointing to the SRPMS directory on any server, it errors reading repmod.xml.

Please can anyone confirm if they have yum 2.1.12 downloading source rpms, and how they did it?

Kind regards,
Steve

yum doesn't do srpms. This is a year old but I think it's still true: https://lists.dulug.duke.edu/piperma...er/003213.html

You can use apt-get but it seems harder to get automatic gpg-checking to work with apt.
