Post This page has been permanently removed

This page has been permanently removed due to significant errors in the installer which caused certain corrupted files to be written to the Windows\system\ folder. If you downloaded the program from this site, it is highly suggested that you remove it and just use the one available for Windows at another location (use Google to search for "Windows GIMP"). You can also download all the plugins.

Thank you

When I go to install Your GIMP, it hangs when I click ok at 100%. I installed gtk before I installed GIMP. Then when I enter the GIMP directory and run the uninstall.exe, it also hangs. Any idea what might be wrong? My machine is running XP. Thanks

Hello

I know you've probably heard this a million times but have you tried rebooting and/or reinstalling the program?. What type of graphics card do you have?. Also, how much memory?. When you reinstall it and the destination directory screen appears, un-check the box that reads "View ReadMe file". It is possible that it is hanging up on this file (but I highly doubt it). Also, you might wait an extra second or two after it is finished installing to allow the shortcuts to be created. How may other programs (or processes) did you have running at the same time you installed YourGIMP?. Did you try going into the folder where YourGIMP is located and running C:\Program Files\GIMP\bin\gimp.exe?. When you went to uninstall it, did you click on the recycle bin icon? (there are four actually uninstall scripts).

- Thank's
