Your session only lasted less than 10 seconds error . . .
Dears,,
I created virtual machine on my laptop.
Then install Linux Red Hat.
I created oracle user to use it during database installation but database still not installed yet.
I can not log in using oracle user ( Can log in using root ).
Now , I tried to log in in Linux using oracle user but i faced the following error . . .
Your session only lasted less than 10 seconds. If you have not logged out yourself, this could mean that you have not logged out yourself, this could mean that there is some Installation problem or that you maybe out of disk space. Try logging in with one of the fail-safe sessions to see if you can fix this problem.
How can solve this to can log in using oracle user?
I can log in using root user.
See the following oracle home:
[root@rac2 db_1]# pwd
/u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1
See permissions for db_1 . . .
drwxr-xr-x 2 oracle oinstall 4096 Apr 19 15:28 db_1
Any directory under /u01 have these permissions also.
I mean that all directories owned by oracle .
See the following oracle home:

drwxr-xr-x 2 oracle oinstall 4096 Apr 19 15:28 db_1

So, where is the problem?
Have you called Oracle, since you're paying for support???
If /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1 is what you want oracle's home directory to be, then change /export/home/oracle to /u01/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1
