Yocto embedded Linux and Chromium touch events

I have a MarsBoard with an i.MX6 ARM processor and an Yocto embedded Linux. The board came with a touch screen, that works - at the moment - like a mouse. When I touch something, the mouse courser appears there. I also installed Chromium 35, based on Aura which - as I read - supports multi touch support. Though it doesn't work, even if I start the Chromium with touch enabled parameter. Websites, for instance with list, behaved not as I know it from Android or ChromeOS, furthermore the HTML / JavaScript mouse events won't be fired.

How can I dig into to solve this problem. I really would like to get a deeper understanding of what's going on or not, but I don't have a clue where to start. Could that be a problem of Chromium, Linux or the touch screen?

I really appreciate any kind of suggestion to solve this issue.

A board is available with Linux Yocto and chromium. Check out Novasom.info.
It is furnished with the kernel that allows proper chromium operation. Let them know what touchscreen you are using. If you want to talk 2015191286
