a while ago i was able to succesfully get my yamaha YMF-724 soundcard to run under redhat6.2 (using an ALSA driver). after upgrading to redhat7.0 i never got it back running.
a 'dmesg' shows the following:
Soundblaster audio driver Copyright (C) by Hannu Savolainen 1993-1996
ymf_sb: found YMF724A-E at 0xf4000000
Yamaha PCI mode.
YMPCI selected
SB 3.01 detected OK (220)
ymf_sb: YMF7xx Legacy Audio driver 0.1.1 loaded
also, when rebooting i get the following message:
insmod ymfsb.o failed
anybody had similar problems?
