Yast says cdrtools, cdrecord, mkisofs not there

I am using suse linux 10.0. When I tried to install the xcdroast rpm using yast, three dependency errors came up. It said I was missing cdda2wav, cdrecord and mkisofs. In yast > software management, all three files are checked off, so I am assuming that I installed these files when they were first checked. If yast reports these files are missing, how can I be sure the files are installed?

I just checked the path specified and all the files are there. Is there another reason the rpm package could not find those files? Do I need to set up a path for these files and if so how is it done?

I hope this helps. I typed cdrecord -scanbus as root and had the following:

linux:~ # cdrecord -scanbus
Cdrecord-Clone 2.01 (i686-suse-linux) Copyright (C) 1995-2004 Jörg Schilling
Note: This version is an unofficial (modified) version
Note: and therefore may have bugs that are not present in the original.
Note: Please send bug reports or support requests to http://www.suse.de/feedbackNote: The author of cdrecord should not be bothered with problems in this version.
cdrecord: No such file or directory. Cannot open '/dev/pg*'. Cannot open SCSI driver.
cdrecord: For possible targets try 'cdrecord -scanbus'.
cdrecord: For possible transport specifiers try 'cdrecord dev=help'.

If the cdrecord is bad, how can it be replaced?
