YaST AND CD??


im trying to install VLC using YaST, but after a little while downloading it ask for a Cd "OpenSuse 11.1-0 (Disc 1)
isent it possible to install programs through YaST withput any cd?
Yes and im new to suse so please explain easy





Never mind found the problem, had to remove the cd in repos

To avoid using the CD, go to yast, installation sources, find and disable installation sources whose URL begins with "cd"... but please remember to install other sources, the main one is usually the http source that replaces the CD:
http://download.opensuse.org/distrib...11.1/repo/oss/ for suse 11.1
or remember to make use of the "one click" facility available in some sites, such as http://software.opensuse.org/search
