I use yahoo web mail and since switching to linux I am having 2 problems with it.

1) when I save an attachment to my desktop sometimes the atachment has no extension, for example it will save a jpeg but it wont be called picture.jpeg, it would just be called picture, Im not sure if this is a yahoo, firefox or distro issue i cant seem to change it and just means i have to add the extension in whenever i download an attchment.

2) I can export my address book from yahoo mail and import it into evolution and kaddress just fine but when i try to export it back out from kaddress or evoloution yahoo says it can recognise the file format or that its curropted, i have tried saving it in the different csv type formats but with no luck, is there some other plug-in or program that can help integrate these programs with yahoo or alternativly gmail?
