Hi,
I downloaded the rpm of Yahoo Messenger of Red Had 9 from
http://messenger.yahoo.com/messenger/download/unix.html
I installed the rpm using
# rpm -i <package name>
As per the instructions on the website, I ran the command
# /usr/bin/ymessenger
This created the necessary user profile and started Yahoo Messenger.
Next I closed the Messenger and tried running it using ths shortcuts the installer had created. However the application did not start.
I tried starting the messenger from the command line in Konsole but got a Segmentation Fault.
I tried removing the package followed by re-installation. However I am still getting the Segmantation Fault.
Distribution: Fedora 4
Any Ideas???
