Xserver won't start after nvidia driver install
I'm using a TNT2 graphical card, the xservers gives an error when it tries to load the nvidia kernel.
Any ideas what i could be? I don't really like surfing with lynx ;-)

Have you really read instructions from NVIDIA site? see if you have Load "GLcore" and Load "dri" commented out in your XF86Config file, what is the error?

I've not read the instructions on the nvidia site, I've read those of gentoo (as the drivers come from their auto update system). They only said to put load glx in xfree86config, I'll try those others... it returns multiple errors, I'll post a part of the log here when I get back to my linux box.

here's a tip, while in x, if you have a way to get into x ie want to re-install etc., exit the xfree86 file like the documentation says first, then in the command prompt install the NVIDIA_kernel file then the NVIDIA_GLX file then do a startx .....best i can do. Try and install from the tar files.
