Xrandr spanning across 2 cards possible?

I want to use xrandr to span 3 monitors across 2 cards, is this possible?

Supposedly this is supported in version 1.3 of Xrandr; which I have, but I can't figure out the syntax.

Thanks,

Chris.

Anyone know if it ever will? If so, any idea as to when?

I "upgraded" from Fedora 10 to Fedora 14 a few months ago & found, much to my dismay, that my dual monitor setup didn't work anymore. Had I known the upgrade would really be a downgrade I'd have stayed at F10.

Not only is it two separate video cards, they're from two different manufacturers. One's a Radeon 7000, the other an nVidia Quadro2; yeah, they're kinda old and I should probably get newer stuff but prior to my upgrade they worked just fine.
