Xpdf. remember last page read when closing/opening the application

Hello,

I'm using slackware64-current and I've chosen xpdf as my pdf reader because of the following reasons (customization, hotkeys, lightweight, less dependencies etc.)

One thing I would like to enable is to make it remember the last page I'm reading before closing.

I'm using these two patches linked here:
http://blog.tobez.org/posts/make-xpd...tion-in-files/

I made it work before in the past in the older version of xpdf. I'm now on version xpdf-3.04. The program compiles successfully when I remove the patches.

Anyone here can help me?
