------xpde Installation How Long Does It Take-------
 

i have redhat 9.1 with 2.6 kernel


How long does it take to install theme?


its been going for a really long time now can anyone tell me how long it takes to install

i did the installation then went to prefrences then theme then install then browse then the folder that it was "xpde-0.4.0" ?
Now its installing i think and taking a really long time to do so , i see it doing something but...

Hi, xpde is not a theme its a desktop environment. After you installed it as root run ./setup.sh as user in the untared xpde folder , then copy xinitrcDEFAUT to your home directory and rename it to .xinitrc , then restart x. There a bit more to it if your using rh/fedora, but its all in the install file.

All of my menu's are empty, how can I fix it?
