xorg-x11-devel dependant on old version of xorg-x11-libs
 

Hi,

I'm trying to install libwmf-devel on Fedora Core 4 and have run into a roadblock. The latest version of libwmf-devel that I've found is libwmf-devel-0.2.8.3-8 (packaged as libwmf-devel-0.2.8.3-8.i386.rpm). Installing this errors out due to a dependency on xorg-x11-devel.

The latest version of xorg-x11-devel that I've found is xorg-x11-devel-6.8.2-31.i386.rpm. Installing this errors out due to a dependency on xorg-x11-libs, telling me that version 6.8.2-31 is needed.

The problem is this - I currently have xorg-x11-libs-6.8.2-37 (as opposed to 6.8.2-31) installed, and many other programs are apparently dependant on it. If xorg-x11-devel is dependant on an older version, what can I do? I tried installing 6.8.2-31 just to see if it is possible to install both, but it is not.

Any suggesions?

You may want to visit; http://www.fedoralegacy.org/ and learn how to add/use the repo for yum or apt then update. Because;
