xorg + gome - window list = yellow bars?

I just installed fc3 and have been setting up my desktop, i normally do not have a window list on my panel.

after removing the window list, whenever i launch a program from the panel, i get a 1 px wide yellow stripe across the edge of my screen. it does not go away untill i move the pannel to another edge of the screen.

re adding the window list stops the recurance of the yellow line

help! it is really annoying. what should i do?

I had this same problem. Whenever I launched a program off of the taskbar it would produce that same line. I tried everything I could think of. I eventually had to re-install because of something else weird that happened and when I re-installed it was no longer a problem. I tried re-installing several rpms that I thought would fix it. I can't remember if I tried to create a new user and see if that works.

So basically I fixed it by re-installing. I'm sure that's not what you're hoping to hear. I'd say there's a way to fix it but I couldn't figure it out.

Maybe you could submit it to redhat and gnome..... I was going to do it but after I re-installed I just forgot about it since I could no longer reproduce the problem. Plus I googled and searched but couldn't find anybody else w/ the same problem. I thought it was some sort of fluke. But now I see that it has happened to more than just me.
