Xorg and Gentoo

I am installing Gentoo, and now I am at the step where I have to startx

I installed KDE and Xorg (emerge xorg-x86, emerge kde)
I also installed the nvidia-kernel and nvidia-glx

When I hit startx, it pops up the nvidia sign (meaning my drivers work?) and then goes back to console

failed to load module "keyboard"
No core device

Mabye something else, don't remember

I changed the driver "keyboard" to driver "kbd", and that was no help
I copied over XF86Config-4, which didn't work
I ran xorgconfig, which also didn't work

Thanks

Try xorgsetup which auto configs it, but it seem that the error lies in your keyboard layout... which shouldn't be hard to figure out.
And to stop that annoying NVIDIA logo from being displayed all the time add this to your xorg.conf file...

Section "Device"
Identifier "NVIDIA GeForce"
Driver "nvidia"
Option "NoLogo" "on" <----add this line
#VideoRam 131072
# Insert Clocks lines here if appropriate

Does the nvidia-glx work for you?
