xMule v1.6.1 + VNC -> zombie process??

Hi all,

I have a P33Mhz server, on which Mandrake 9.2 is running. I've setup a VNC server and start from it xMule v1.61. This way, the downloading keeps going, even when I'm not connected to it. All would be great if it wasn't for this wierd thing happening with xMule after it ran for couple hours. After some time, when I check how much is downloaded, my xMule doesn't respond to anything. It looks like a program, under Windows, that got hung up. Everything looks fine, except the parts that should be refreshed and it doesn't respond to mouse or keyboard. I also have no idea, if it is still downloading, because I haven't figured it out a way to check it. What's happening? Is it because my machine is so slow??? Or maybe some other thing, that I can't even think off?

I found out one another thing:

When I get a LOWID in xMule, everything works fine. Could it be that. if I get HIGHID I get higher traffic, and simply my machine can't handle it?

I have xMule 1.6.1 alone and i also have this problem. After some hours of working, it totally hangs and i have to kill the process. I have LOWID, so that does not seem to be the problem.
