xmule long waiting download status......

hi there:

got a problem with xmule i wonder if anyone also has it or had it and can give me a hand.

well, the download speed never seems to pick up. i tried downloading files with lots of sources but it remains 'waiting' in the status. however, my upload speed is good thougt. i am behind a Belkin router and have opend the TCP and UDP ports for xmule.

any ideas? all this is in a dual boot system and i have Overnet running on XP and its works ok. but i really like to get linux downloading sorted.

many thanks

CHUN

I've just installed xmule and it wont download anything. It uploads constantly though so someone in the world must have the damned thing working...
I used to use Limewire, but Limewire appears to be the only thing that has made my computer crash since I used Microsoft software....

See to it that your firewall(ip-tables) is not blocking the incoming ports for Xmule..
