Xmule,aMule, lmule Client For Connect Behind Proxy

How can configure my aMule or lmule or xmule client, if i was behind a proxy firewall ???

My PC was in a LAN and the router for internet, is protected by a linux proxy (squid) with a socks proxy (dante).

Emule client for Windows, have a section for configure a socks proxy server, in this section i specify the ip of my socks proxy (10.10.10.254) with the port (1080) .

Why in the linux version this section are missed ? There are another way to make it (es. iptables, port redirect.....??) ??

THANKS !!!!
P.S. Sorry for my bad english, but i'm Italian!!!! :-)
