XMMS TTF font not available

Hello,

I'm having woes with getting XMMS to use TTF fonts. I'm using Fedora Core 6. I've installed the msttcorefonts package, which contains MS TTF fonts. The fonts are installed and work fine in most applications. I can verify this by opening fonts: with nautilus, and seeing the installed fonts there.

However, when I start up XMMS, I am not able to select the fonts. I can see the fonts in the font list, but when I select them, they don't appear in the preview window, and the message "The selected font is not available" is displayed instead.

What could I be doing wrong?

Thanks in advance. Cheers and regards,
Michael
