xmms source rpm

I downloaded xmms-mp3 source rpm from freshrpms.net and it took me awhile to figure it's a source code. After doing some more digging, I found out that in order for me to install the binary, i need to first rebuild the source rpm. so I typed the following code

rpmbuild --rebuild filename.src.rpm

In return, I got this error message.

Installing xmms-mp3-1.2.7-21.p.fr1.src.rpm

I'm running RedHat 9.0
They took out the mp3 playing function in 9.0, and I know if I install the binary files I will be able to listen to mp3 files. However, if I want to listen to music online, maybe through certain websites, I will need to compile this source RPM, correct?

Thank you for your help, I'm still wetting my feet with linux.

p.s. on an unrelated note, I backed up some data on my second harddrive and reinstalled linux 9.0 on my first harddrive. However, now I don't know where I should look to find my other harddrive and transfer the files over to my newly installed linux, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Redhat 9 has xmms and all you need to do is download and install the following:

http://havardk.xmms.org/dist/xmms-1.....7-21.i386.rpm

I did it this week and it works fine after installing this file.
