XMMS install issue..

Maybe someone can help.. I am receiving the follow message:

# rpm -ivh xmms-mp3-1.2.10-2.2.p.1.fc2.fr.i386.rpm
warning: xmms-mp3-1.2.10-2.2.p.1.fc2.fr.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID e42d547b
error: Failed dependencies:
xmms = 1:1.2.10 is needed by xmms-mp3-1.2.10-2.2.p.1.fc2.fr
libxmms.so.1 is needed by xmms-mp3-1.2.10-2.2.p.1.fc2.fr

I think it might have to do with the Key varification..? Which is fine.. anyone know how I can disable this. Im on Fedora Core 2.

u need xmms = 1:1.2.10 (version) to install the xmms-mp3-1.2.10-2.2.p.1.fc2.fr.i386.rpm

U probably have a older version of xmms which is incompatible with the rpm ur trying to install...

Uninstall the already installed xmms (old) rpm on ur machine..

Check what version of xmms u have

#rpm -qa | grep xmms

uninstall it by #rpm -ev name_of the_xmms_package

download the following RPM which is compatible with ur [xmms-mp3-1.2.10-2.2.p.1.fc2.fr.i386.rpm]

from

http://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/freshrp...c2.fr.i386.rpm

Install it by #rpm -ivh xmms-1.2.10-2.2.p.1.fc2.fr.i386.rpm xmms-mp3-1.2.10-2.2.p.1.fc2.fr.i386.rpm

that should work
