XMMS freezes randomly during play

Hey all:

XMMS works fine usually and i have my playlist set up on random play. XMMS will freeze randomly however and i'll have to kill it: ps ux|grep xmms; kill ..... (I cannot close the program in KDE)

Any idea what might be causing this?

I'm running Mandrake 10.0 and it's XMMS 1.2.9.

xmms 1.2.10
Try upgrading to version 1.2.10
