XMMS dockable to pannel?

I know in Windows you can get Winamp to minimize to the system try if u hold shift when you click the minimize button. I was wondering if there is someway I can do the same with XMMS? I tried searching on Google and poking around in the settings from XMMS but I havent found anything yet.

If there is a way maybe someone could help me a little? Also, I was just wondering what everyone uses to talk on AIM on linux. I downloaed AOL's Linux aim client, but it only seemed to me like a slightly better version of Java AIM.
